#PeakNow75: A Large Landscape Model

During the production of #PeakNow artists Tim Rose and Greta Vilidaite were filmed on location as they made paintings 'En plein air' in the Peak District landscape. During this shoot the artists were mic'd up and their conversation recorded.

This conversation creates a wonderful picture in the mind of the listener, both of the landscape as it is recreated in paint and of the thought processes behind this traditional mode of representation. This picture contrasts beautifully with the technological modes of capturing views through the lenses of mobile phones, and the ways in which these are shared through contemporary social media, as explored in the film.
