“Don’t air your dirty laundry in public!” Inspired by the research of Professor Sharron Hinchliff, Airing Our Dirty Laundry tackles the taboo topic of aging and sexuality, shedding light on intimacy, love and relationships in care homes. At its heart is a thought-provoking ceramic installation by Angie Hardwick, featuring a washing line of ceramic underwear. The exhibit acts as a canvas for the lived experiences of older adults and the care staff who support their dignity and choice.
