Life Game - playthrough

Cutting-edge conservation research blends with art and design to create two exciting, contrasting responses to mass extinction. Artist Paul Evans worked in collaboration with Professor David Edwards and his team at the Department of Biosciences, developing and producing LIFE GAME. This engaging, playable artwork involves participants in a high stakes contest to save life on Earth. 

A commission for Festival of the Mind 2022, ‘Lifegame' was first exhibited in ‘Futurecade’ at Millennium Gallery Sheffield from 15-25 September 2022.
