How is data used in the NHS Covid Data Store?
Discover what happened to the data collected during the Covid-19 pandemic in the NHS data store.
The NHS Covid-19 data store was a national data store to help organisations responsible for coordinating the Covid-19 response. This animation shows what happened to data within the data store. We drew on information in the public domain, on government web pages and elsewhere to produce this animation.
Living with Data Project
Living With Data was a research project which explored people’s thoughts and feelings about uses of personal data by public sector organisations.
We produced visualisations of six specific data uses and asked people what they thought of them. We produced animations of the visualised data uses to inform the public about ways in which personal data gets used, and as resources for other projects.
We explain our choices and process on this page and share some quotes from our participants here.
