Is It Really Possible to Eat Well on a Budget?
Research led by Dr Jordan Beaumont (Sheffield Hallam University) & Dr Beverley O'Hara (Leeds Beckett University)
Public health nutritionists Dr Jordan Beaumont and Dr Beverley O'Hara, from the Food, Eating and Health Research Group, have found that many factors influencing food choices are largely outside of individual control. Furthermore, well-meaning dietary guidelines can sometimes make people feel like failures when they do not meet them. How can we address this and improve the national diet?
Come to this interactive exhibit to explore the complex factors that shape our diets, and learn how to eat well on a budget. Play the food choices game and speak with public health researchers about the simple changes you can make to improve the nutritional quality of your diet.
