Research Records #38 Professor Marie Kinsey Interviews Professor Elena Rodriguez Falcon

Professor Elena Rodriguez-Falcon is particularly recognised as an expert and leader in engineering and enterprise education as well as inclusive and international learning and teaching.

Elena is now Chief Academic Officer with Study Group, which specialises in international education and partners with universities all over the world. Elena is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, was the 2020 Woman of the Year in Technology.

She’s a Fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology. The Chartered Management Institute and the Women’s Engineering Society. She was one of the first 12 Principal Fellows of Advance HE. She may be best known for leading the creation of the New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering where she was President and CEO with a brief to transform engineering education in the UK.

Elena also spent many years at the University of Sheffield where she says she discovered her vocation as an educator.
