Join researchers from the University of Sheffield's School of Law for a special two-part episode of the 'Law in Context' rapid response  event and podcast series, co-hosted by Dr Anna Ventouratou and Dr Sotirios Lekkas.

This special episode is dedicated to the topic of Elections. Part I will explore crucial legal and policy issues surrounding the upcoming 2024 US Presidential Elections, including the US electoral system, the characteristics of the electoral campaign of the presidential candidates and the role of digital technology, and the political significance and possible global ramifications of the electoral result.

Part II will delve into Cyberoperations and Electoral Interference, discussing the international law governing cyberattacks, intelligence gathering, and foreign intervention in a State’s domestic affairs and addressing the challenges of maintaining election integrity in the digital era.
