In the final chapter, The Future, Professor Paul Crowther provides an overview of the contemporary questions in astrophysics, including the nature of dark matter, the search for planets around other stars and how they will be addressed by upcoming large telescopes such as the James Webb Space Telescope and the Extremely Large Telescope, enhanced by stunning images from National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), European Space Agency (ESA) and The European Organisation for Astronomical Research in the Southern Hemisphere (ESO).
