The event

Synchronisation is not only integral to music but also to human life. From synchronising our movements with a partner to move a piece of furniture, to dancing to our favourite song, music psychology has revealed that “moving together” with others results in enhanced closeness and empathy.

Join Persefoni Tzanaki, from the Music department, and explore the social bonding effects of synchronisation by trying different methods used in music psychology experiments.
