Our latest guest is Professor Athene Donald who has a Natural Sciences MA and a PhD in Physics from Cambridge University. After 4 years of further research in the USA she came back to Cambridge, initially to the Department of Materials Science and Engineering before returning to The Cavendish Laboratory in 1983. Her research is in the field of polymers, soft matter and where physics and biology meet.
