Surveys suggest that people are washing their hands less now than they did at the start of the pandemic. Dr Sophie Rutter uses cutting edge research employing facial recognition to find out why this is.
Take part in an interactive activity measuring real time emotional responses to images designed to motivate handwashing.
This short video from the University of Sheffield Information School outlines current research into how combinations of images and text could encourage more people to wash their hands.
