Teachers and practitioners session

COVID-19 quarantine and distancing measures have had a huge impact on children and young people’s opportunities for play and socialising together. How have they adapted? What does their play say about resourcefulness, resilience and creativity in challenging times?

This online interactive session is an introduction to our Play Observatory survey and to the resource packs for schools and organisations for children. Find out how you can contribute your own examples of children’s pandemic playfulness and COVID creativity to our project.

This session is suitable for teachers, play workers and practitioners (leaders of out-of-school clubs and activities).

Find out more about the Play Observatory and see how others have been playing during the pandemic in the video below.
